Audrey Miklitsch
Audrey Miklitsch is a Denver based artist and designer who works in a variety of mediums. She is an avid photographer, who experiments in the 3D realm. As a marketing and studio art graduate from the University of Denver, she continues to grow her practice in graphic design for business development.
Her work explores social concepts about identity and sexuality. She creates visual representations of these concepts through abstraction in a variety of forms. The juxtaposition of intangible emotions and tangible geometric forms is a common theme in her pieces. Her most recent work "Unnamed" looks at the ideas of invalidation and empowerment by paying homage to influential people.
A lover of travel and global cultures, she documents her experiences with photography. Her ongoing project "Tread Lightly" looks at snapshots of her travels, reminding her to take the time to sit and enjoy each new place.
